A short Bio

Vana Kostayola from Greece and currently based in Geneva, is an artist who works with performance and audiovisual installations.

She works as a video artist for dance and theater companies since 2006 and samples of her work are found in this site.

With her ollaborators they explore ambivalent appropriations of ideas and aesthetics.

More than the artistic result she enjoys the process! A process which often involves long period of artisic research and at times interaction with different disciplines and varius social groups.

Always interesetd in the discourse and practice of the Psy-world and of gender issues, she is more than open to collaborations.

The production of subjectivities in the corporate world as long as the affective dimention in collective identifications remain in the heart of her interests.

She holds a Master from St Martins College (MA Fine Art), a Master from Golsmiths (MA Interactive Media) and a Master from HEAD (Haute Ecole d'Art et de Dessin) in Geneva (MA Critical Curatorial Cybermedia).
